School Shopping

I know I shouldn't spend my own money on school stuff but I just had to buy some wikki stix and letter stampers for my launch of the Daily 5. How much do other teachers spend on classroom resources? Does it differ between countries? I have spent about £50 so far on whiteboard pens, table tidies, books because we have such a tight budget in school (I teach in Scotland).  Would love to hear what any other teachers out there spend and how they feel about spending their own money so please leave a comment.
